Over time, a growing protion of the actual chat came to love John - some as a joke, some unironically - and he became one of the most popular characters from Miitopia: The RTGame Cinematic Universe. This was partly forced by RT to provoke a reaction from his viewers, but at some point Chat started to act kindly to John on their own. In this game, the character "John" is a reference to John Waught, one of Scribblenaut's developers (note: Magical John has nothing to do with John Waught as RT seemed unaware of this). Magical John first appeared on RT's channel in his 2019 playthrough of Scribblenauts Unlimited, where the character was summoned on accident. Magical John is a reoccurring character on RTGame's channel and is known as part of his "cinematic universe".
